Central Maine Power's (CMP) bidirectional meters have two accumlating registers, net feed-in and net feed-out. Each month their difference is either billed or "banked" energy credits (kWh). To determine the building's end-use energy consumption, solar production for the billing period is downloaded from the SolarEdge site.
Unused credits expire after one year.
Electric submetering was installed on the heat pumps and main subpanels in January, 2020. Here's the measured results for HP-2 during a portion of the 2019- 2020 heating season.
The solar PV array includes 45 panels for a total capacity of 14.685 kW, including 3.960 kW which was added on 8/28/20.
Inverter 1 (10 kW) was replaced, 02/07/23, under warrantee by Revision Energy; lost one week of production.
"CMP Credits Allocated" refers to utilizing excess credits for another CMP account.
